About me

I live in Venice, where part of my family's roots are. In my free time I go rowing on the lagoon.

I started teaching Italian in London in 2008, after certifying at International House. After a few years in luxury hospitality, I chose to return to teaching, which I've carried on for several years now, across private schools in Venice and through online lessons.

I work with students of every level and background, from first steps to preparing for interviews or a move abroad. I don't follow rigid programs or textbooks: every lesson starts from the language I encounter every day, and from the goals you want to reach.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to learn Italian?
It depends on your starting point and how much time you can give it, but with regular lessons most students reach basic conversation within a few months and a comfortable level within a year.
Are lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Yes: many students start with no background at all. The path is still built around you, starting from wherever you actually are.
Online lessons or in person in Venice?
Both work equally well: online for convenience and flexibility, in person for those who are in or live in Venice and prefer to meet face to face.
